Welcome
January 14th, 2008
St Blaise Anglican church is in St Blazey in the heart of Cornwall and includes The Eden Project in its parish. We are a small but extremely friendly congregation always delighted to welcome visitors to any services or events. We join together for refreshments after our Sunday morning service and on the fourth Sunday of each month the Communion Service is replaced by a Service of the Word led by one of the congregation. At this service we are joined by members of the local Methodist church. Morning prayer and communion are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 9.30 and 10.00am respectively. Children are always welcome and a corner of the church is set aside with activities for them to do with toys and books for their use. A very thriving Parent and Toddler group is run on Thursday mornings. The congregation and friends have a flourishing social life with monthly coffee mornings and a variety of lunches, garden parties, book sales, concerts and trips out.
The Parish of St Blaise is grouped with Par, Tywardreath, and Luxulyan Parishes and is a member of ‘Par District Churches Together’.
